Funeral services for Sharron Hicks Stevens, 68, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating and Rev. Daniel Attaway assisting. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
Sharron was born August 29, 1950 in Hope, AR to Lloyd and Ila Faye Hicks and went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2018. She attended Summer Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling in the Corvette, especially to beaches and mountains. She loved spending time with her seven grandchildren.
Sharron was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Ray Bristow. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 13 years, Rodney Stevens; children, Kenny Johnson and wife Sheri, Cindy Roscoe and husband Brian, Robert Stevens and wife Christy, Randall Stevens, and Sarah Smith and husband Allen; seven grandchildren; sisters, Sandra Bristow and Sheila Attaway and husband Bob; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all of her best friends for their love and support.
Pallbearers will be Bob Attaway, Larry Hicks, Brian Roscoe, Allen Smith, Randall Stevens, and Robert Stevens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the 2nd Milers Sunday School Class at Summer Grove Baptist Church.
