Dominick Priest, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana and a resident of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi died on November 26, 2014 at the age of 86. He was born on November 21, 1928 to the late Tony and Anna Priest. He and his twin were the youngest of ten siblings. A kind, loving and hardworking man, he never met a stranger, made an enemy nor held a grudge. Always generous with his "Sirs" and "Ma'ams", he made it a priority to show respect for his fellow man. A dedicated employee of Holsum Bakery, Dominick worked hard, long hours to support his family. He was a devout Christian and a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. As his health began to fail he moved to Bay St. Louis, Mississippi to live with his daughter and son-in-law. He adapted well to his new home and continued to make numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Allen Priest and a daughter, Dorice Priest Tucker. Mr. Priest is survived by his daughter, Dianne Priest Martin and son-in-law, Craig Martin of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, and a sister, Mrs. Virginia Priest Hawthorne of Shreveport, Louisiana. He is also survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Shirley Nelson, three step-sons: Aubrey Mitchell, Thurman Byles and Eudis Byles, and two granddaughters, Mrs. Leslie Spano and Mrs. Jodi Tucker, and numerous great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dunbar Village Nursing Home and the Hancock County Senior Center for their love and support. Special thanks to the staff of Gentiva Health Service (Hospice) for the professional care he received. In addition, the family expresses their appreciation to family friends and healthcare workers Heather Adams and Ellen Armenta. Rose-Neath Southside 2500 Southside Drive 318-687-1256
