Mausoleum
Keithville, LA – Mrs. Jorene Walston Dupuy, 86, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015, after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, at Osborn Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 11:30 a.m. on August 19, at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave. Officiating will be Father Bill Bryant. A reception will follow at Mrs. Dupuy’s home.
Mrs. Dupuy was a native of Daisy, AR and a resident of Shreveport for 50 plus years. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Dupuy was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Dupuy; mother, Myrtle Walston; father, Joe Walston; and stepson, John Dupuy. She is survived by her daughter, Lynne Foster; granddaughter, Allison Patterson and husband, Jim; great-grandchildren, Sarah and Hannah Patterson; sister, Molly Wilkinson and husband, Roger; nieces, Amy Pollard and husband, Wiley and family and Patti Gossein and husband, Alain and family; and nephew, Steve Wilkinson and wife, Marcia and family.
Pallbearers will be Jim Patterson, Mike Patterson, Ben Wood and Mike Brown.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Phillip Kinnebrew and Penny; Dr. Gomelsky; and Courtney, Lisa and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice.
Jorene was a loving, dedicated and generous individual. She spent much of her life caring for her family and those around her. Remembered by her love for reading and gardening, her quick wit, and wisdom. She was loved by many, will be dearly missed, and will never be forgotten.
