March 9, 1890 - March 9, 1965
Mrs. Bessie Perkins Denham, 75, a former resident of Junction City, died Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. L. Murray of Blanchard, La. She was a member of the Junction City Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Neal Droddy of Gardenia, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Murray of Blanchard and Mrs. James D. Wilson of Lisbon, La., eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Union Grove Baptist Church, Lillie, La., with the Rev. A. W. Smart and Rev. R. M. Rainbow officiating. Burial followed in the Union Grove Cemetery under the direction of Pratt's. Pallbearers will be grandsons of Mrs. Denham.
