Alice Miller Guilbeau
SUNSET - Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church for Alice Miller Guilbeau, age 83, who passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Lafayette.
Mrs. Guilbeau was a native and lifelong resident of Sunset and was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Willis Martin Guilbeau; one son, Timothy Guilbeau and his wife, Dixie, all of Sunset; two daughters, Shelly Schexnayder and her husband, Brian, of Jeanerette and Wendy Kardorff and her husband, Rod, of Spring, TX; six grandchildren, Brandon Scott Guilbeau and his wife, Kristina, Britni Rae Taylor and her husband, Matt, Megan Marie Schexnayder, Taryn Nicole Schexnayder, Jason Werner Kardorff and Alexander Emile Kardorff; and two great grandchildren, Emma Josephine Guilbeau and Austin Scott Guilbeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge Miller and the former Emma Robin; two daughters, Denise Francis Guilbeau and Sonya Marie Guilbeau; two brothers, Francis Miller and Floyd Joseph Miller; two grandchildren, Sean Martin Kardorff and Sonya Marie Kardorff; and one great grandson, Mercer Mathew Taylor.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until service time on Monday.
Pallbearers will be Brian Schexnayder, Brandon Guilbeau, Matt Taylor, Jude Robin, Roland Robin and Rod Kardorff.
