AMass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 2, 2018 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church for Mrs. Loretta Kimball Stelly, 91, who passed away on October 30, 2018 at 1:40 AM at her home. Fr. Dustin Dought, Pastor of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Loretta, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Marshall Kimball and the former Lenora Lafleur. Mrs. Loretta retired from Golden Cleaners as a Seamstress after 15 years. In her free time she enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Lanclos and husband J. D., Joanne Artigue and husband Rodney; grandchildren, Jackie Darbonne, Kathy Wise, Brian Artigue, Corey Lanclos, Kevin Artigue, James Stelly, Brandon Lanclos, Derek Lanclos, Christopher Stelly; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Neva Marks, Lenora Robin; and daughter-in-law, Judy Stelly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Stelly; son, Randy Stelly; parents, Marshall and Lenora Kimball; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and 1 great granddaughter, Abigail Artigue. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM on Thursday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Brian Artigue, Corey Lanclos, Kevin Artigue, James Stelly, Brandon Lanclos, Derek Lanclos, and Christopher Stelly. The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice of Acadiana for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations in Mrs. Stelly's honor can be made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston, Ste 200, Lafayette, La 70506.
