Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott for Ralph Charles Daigle, 78, who passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018.

Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Reverend Mark Derise, Pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services.

Survivors include his children, Laura Durio and husband Bryan, Andrea Millette and husband Rob, Edward Daigle and wife Diane, Catherine Cavalier and husband Mark, Christopher Daigle and wife Mindy, Timothy Daigle and wife Amy, and David Daigle; his grandchildren, Sean Millette, Austin Millette, Dean Millette, Charles Millette, Jessie Millette, Craig Millette, Rebecca Daigle, Brittany Daigle, Christopher Cavalier, Claire Cavalier, Hendrik Matthysen, Micah Matthysen, Jonathan Matthysen, Lucas Daigle, and Sara Daigle; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Jace and Amie; and his brother, Daniel Daigle and wife Katherine.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Bartleson Daigle; and his parents, Alcee and Ann LaGrange Daigle.

Mr. Daigle was a Lafayette resident for most of his life. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy and worked as a hospital pharmacist for 42 years until his retirement. Mr. Daigle was a parishioner of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott and was a 3rd Degree Knight with Sts. Peter & Paul Knights of Columbus Council #7568. He was also a member of the Jumelage Committee of Scott. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who's legacy will live on in his family.

Pallbearers will be Edward Daigle, Christopher Daigle, Timothy Daigle, David Daigle, Mark Cavalier, and Rob Millette.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SCOTT location on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

A Rosary will be prayed in French and led by his children on Friday at 7:00 PM in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made in Ralph Daigle's name to Sts. Peter & Paul Knights of Columbus Council #7568, 1532 Mills Street, Scott, La 70583.
