Mausoleum
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2018 in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Wilbert "Tiger" Paul Landry, who died November 5, 2018. The retired Rev Gary Schexnayder will officiate the funeral Mass. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visiting hours will be observed from 9:00 am until time of service. A rosary will be led by Sister Doris Roy at 11:00 am.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Georgie Melancon Landry; son Danny Landry of Atlanta; brothers Albert Landry, Nelson Landry, Harry Lee Landry and Clayton Landry; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents Antoine Landry and Rose Noel Landry; brothers; Wilson, Remy, Willis and Dalton and sister, Rita Landry.
Mr Landry was a Veteran of the US Air Force having served during the Korean War.
