Thomas Brown enlisted as a Private on August 13, 1861, at Camp Moore, Louisiana. The Company Muster Roll for September - October 1863 listed him as on guard at Brandon, Mississippi on September 5, 1863. The Company Muster Roll for November - December 1863, listed him as present with the company. The Company Muster Roll for July - August 1864, listed his promotion to 2nd Sergeant effective July 1, 1864, and wounded in battle on July 20, 1864, and sent to the hospital. No other records followed.
