Funeral services for Mrs. B. A. Life, Sr., a resident of Shreveport who died there Monday morning, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Green-Kleinegger Funeral Home with the Rev. Meade Brown and the Rev. James C. Buckner of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Shreveport and the Rev. William B. Daniels officiating. Burial was in the Minden cemetery. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. John J. Carter of Shreveport; one son, B. A. Life, Jr. of Bura; three brothers, Lawrence E. and Louis S. Scruggs of Minden and Julian Scruggs, Birmingham, Ala. and four grandchildren. (The Minden Herald - May 26, 1960)
