SHREVEPORT, Louisiana - Mrs Alice Ann Fory Barron passed away April 17, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Osborn Funeral Home with services to follow at 2:00 pm in the Osborn Chapel. Dr Larry Williams of Broadmoor Baptist Church will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery.
Mrs Alice Barron was a native of Little Rock, Arkansas and a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana for many years. She was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church, Priscilla Sunday School Class and was a secretary and bookkeeper for M F McCain for twenty years. Above all else she was a caregiver.
Mrs Barron was preceded in death by parents Frank and Mae Fory; brother Charles Fory; and husband Ned Barron. She is survived by first cousins Martha Heard of Canton, Texas, Esther Ellis and husband, Jerry of Boerne, Texas and Howard Fory of Longview, Texas.
