SHREVEPORT, LA – Graveside services celebrating the life of Mary Janice Powell will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Forest Park St. Vincent Cemetery. Officiating will be Father Joe Kallookalam.
Mary was born September 7, 1919 in Mansfield, LA and passed away November 13, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Isabell Wilson, husband William James Powell, sister, Jimmie Lee Webb and brother Lawrence Wilson. Left to cherish her memory are her son Stephen Powell and wife Penny; son Tommy Powell, daughter Cheryl Faye Powell; grandchildren, Marian Pardue, Martha Boykin, Britney Rust and husband Jason; David McVay and wife Lisa; Miranda McVay Choat and husband Wesley; Kimberly McVay and Kirk Powell; and 3 great-grandchildren.
