Funeral services for Joseph "J.C." Beavers, Sr., 83, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 21, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Butch Pilcher will officiate. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

J.C. was born March 26, 1932 in West Monroe and passed away November 18, 2015 in Monroe. He was retired from Riverwood-Manville as a machine operator. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Janie Beavers; wife, Lois I. Arrant Beavers and numerous brothers and sisters. He was a former commander of the Northeast Louisiana Chapter of the Disabled American Veteran and was a decorated combat veteran of the United States Army.

J.C. is survived by his sons; Ronnie Beavers and wife Karen, Joey Beavers and wife Connie; grandchildren; Amity Rayner, Jodi Beavers, Joey Lee Beavers, Aaron Beavers and Clint Beavers; 9 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Harold Glen Arrant, Bobby Arrant, Jerry Arrant, Gary Hale, Steve Greer and Matt Arledge.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Rodgers, Kenneth Mayes and Ricky Mayes.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
