Funeral Services for Mrs. Janet Griggs, 83, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 7, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA, with Dr. Bob Holloway and Rev. Charles Martindale officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Griggs was born July 23, 1934, and passed away May 1, 2018. She was a member of Watson Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Martin; three brothers, Jack Rook, Dick Rook and Collin Martin; and sister, Margaret Van Derfleese.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Griggs; son, Mike Griggs and wife Nancy; grandson, Christopher Griggs and wife Samantha; great grandson, Jack Griggs; sisters, Jill Perry and June Clewlow; brother, Peter Rook; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Wink, Gary Osborne, Jack Oglesby, Jimmy Dennig, Bennie Gewin and Grover Weems.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Martin and L.V. Frith.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Monday.
Memorials may be made to Watson Baptist Church.
