BREAUX BRIDGE - Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Evelyn M. Jolivette, 92, who passed away February 13, 2011 at her residence in Lafayette, LA.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Dorville "Joe" Jolivette and Paul L.C. (Eloise) Jolivette, both of Lafayette; three daughters, Fabiola Marie J. Guillory of Lafayette, Parnella (Allan) Sealy of Carencro and Lovenia Jolivette of Lafayette; 21 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 26 great-great grandchildren; five brothers, Dan Broussard, Robert Broussard, Dorsey Broussard, all of Houston, TX, Dorville Broussard, Jr. of Breaux Bridge and James Broussard of Duson; two sisters, Edna Enard of Lafayette and Ida Abrams of Breaux Bridge; one daughter-in-law, Edresta Jolivette of Lafayette; one son-in-law, David Mouton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Villear Jolivette; one son, Odell Jolivette; one daughter, Florena J. Mouton; her parents, Dorville Broussard, Sr. and Fabiola J. Broussard; one sister, Earline Jeanbatiste; four brothers, Dary Broussard, Dalton Broussard, Preston Broussard and Dartez Broussard and one son-in-law, Herman Guillory.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7 a.m. until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 8 a.m.
