Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Annie Mae Calais Francis, 72, who died March 18, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospice of Acadiana.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Ugochukwu Jerome Cletus, SSJ.
Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth J. Francis of Breaux Bridge, LA; her son, Lenneth Keith Francis (Eleanor) of Breaux Bridge, LA; her daughters, Sonja R. Harrison (Kelton) of Lafayette, LA and Latonya M. Smith (Adrien) of Pineville, LA. She also leaves to mourn, her sister, Rose Broussard of Lafayette, LA; her sister, Margaret Posey of Houston, TX; her brother, Allen Calais (Delores) of Breaux Bridge, LA; her brother, Dalton Calais of Breaux Bridge, LA; her sister, Dorothy Batiste (Ivy Chretien) of Arnaudville, LA; her brother, Early Jemal Calais (Irma) of Saginaw, MI; her brother, John Calais (Norma) of Breaux Bridge, LA; her sister, Patricia Dennis (Bryan) of Lafayette, LA; her brother, Patrick Calais (Sharon) of Breaux Bridge, LA; her sister-in-law, Shirley Joseph of Baton Rouge, LA; her sister-in-law, DeAnna, wife of deceased brother, Harold Calais of Breaux Bridge, LA; her grandchildren, Ryan Francis, Dervin Williams, Kyron Harrison, Kylar Harrison, Joseph Johnson, Ethan Harrison, Langston Francis and Cullen Francis; her great grandchildren, Ryan Francis, Jr., Ariya Williams and Dervin Williams, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Early Calais; her mother, Alberta Williams Calais; her sister, Cora Derouselle; her brother, Lee Roy Calais; her brother, Harold Calais and her grandson, Aiden J. Smith.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2019 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m.
