Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Barbara Ann Ledet Williams, 71, who passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Saturday at Pellerin Funeral Home – Carver & Dauterive. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.

Fr. Richard Kalinowski will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be read by Loretta Jean-Batiste and Tiffianie Simon. Gift Bearers will be Brandaja Williams and JaQuaylon Charles.

Barbara enjoyed listening to Gospel and Zydeco music. She loved having gatherings at home and cooking for her family and cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary Williams, Dianna Christian and her husband, Rickey, and Brenda Williams, all of Breaux Bridge; six brothers, Joseph Pierre Ledet of Texas, Leroy Ledet, Harrison Ledet, Jr., and Ramsey Joseph Ledet, all of Breaux Bridge, George Ledet and his wife, Louella, of Atlanta, GA, and Clausey Joseph Ledet of Breaux Bridge; six sisters, Theresa Jones and her husband, Jimmy, of Houston, TX, Shirley Noel and her husband, Earl, of Cecilia, Anna Mae Edwards and her husband, Albert, of Lake Charles, Lorita Jean-Batiste and her husband, Eugene, of Breaux Bridge, Renella Faulk and her husband, Kim, of Lafayette, and Annie Jean Alfred and her husband, Rodney, of Lake Charles; seven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; four godchildren, Leroy Ledet, Jr., Sarah Wiltz, Kenneth Williams, and Raymond Jean-Batiste; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harrison Ledet, Sr. and Mary Bienvenu Ledet; her husband, Thomas Williams; four sisters, Josephine Ledet, Eula Mae Lambert, Della Arceneaux, and Mary Alice Charles; and six brothers, Carl Ledet, Wilbert Ledet, Jessie James Ledet, Charles Joseph Ledet, Clifton Joseph Ledet, Sr., and Ashton Ledet.

Pallbearers will be Johnathon Williams, Brandon Williams, Christopher Williams, Jermeiah Williams, Keenan Porter, and Raymond Jean-Batiste.

Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Ledet, Harrison Ledet, Jr., Ramsey Joseph Ledet, Rickey Christian, Ray Sonnier, Tommy Lambert, Ray Ledet, Leroy Ledet, Robert Ledet, and David Paul Simon.

Pellerin Funeral Home (Carver Street Chapel), 416 Dauterive St., Breaux Bridge, Louisiana 70517, (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
