April 7, 1848 - September 18, 1910
He enlisted March 8, 1862, in Iberville, Louisiana. On January 16, 1864, the 27th Regiment Louisiana Infantry was consolidated with seven other regiments to form the 22nd Regiment (Consolidated) Louisiana Infantry. His name appeared on a Roll of Prisoners of War after Confederate forces in Vicksburg, Mississippi capitulated on July 4, 1863. He was paroled at Vicksburg on July 14, 1863.
