May 19, 1934 - July 29, 2012
On Sunday July 28, 2012 a beautiful life ended at Baton Rouge General Butterfly Wing at the age of 78. Selina Brown Stevens was a native and resident of Plaquemine, Louisiana.
Visitation at Mount Cyrene B C, 25159 Deblieux Street Plaquemine, until religious service, officiated by Rev Chris Dawson. Interment Homestead Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Roscoe Mortuary, Plaquemine.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughters Wanda and spouse Michael Dogan, Baton Rouge; Trudy Brown, Baton Rouge, Stephanie and Spouse Gerald Williams, Addis, Isabella and spouse James Thomas, Addis, Shawanda and spouse David Ovete, Lillian and spouse Frank Jackson, Jacqueline Stevens all of Plaquemine, Wayne Maxwell and spouse Lisa Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada. A surrogate son George Brown, and former daughter-in-law, Stacey Stevens Georgetown. A brother Elijah Brown, Jr, a devoted grandson Chris Stevens, a special niece Harriet Pugh. Numerous grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
