Sophia Mae "Mae-Mae" Thomas, native and resident of Plaquemine, departed this life Thursday, August 23, 2012. She was 61.
Visitation at Second Baptist Church, 24830 Railroad Avenue, Plaquemine until religious service, conducted by Rev Mark I Stewart, Sr, Pastor. Interment in Homestead Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Pugh's Mortuary, 58233 Plaquemine Street, Plaquemine.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Tanisha Thomas (Kenneth); grandchildren Tameria and Kenneth Saylor, Jr; father Jules T Price, Jr; sister Joyce A Price; devoted niece Allisha Thomas and devoted goddaughter Katina Price; nine aunts, six uncles, three godchildren and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by mother Ernestine D Price; grandparents Martin and Sophie Taylor, Jewell and Albertha Price and Louis and Mary Dempsey; aunts, uncles and cousins.
