From Louisiana Archives ~ Booles, James R, Private Company H 12th Louisiana Infantry. Enlisted November 15, 1861, Columbus, Kentucky. Present on all Rolls to December 1863. Roll for May & June, 1864, "Absent. Sent to General Hospital, in Lagrange, Georgia, June 23, 1864." Present July & August 1864.
