From Louisiana Archives ~ Booles, William A (also Bowls, William A), Private Company H 12th Louisiana Infantry. Enlisted August 13, 1861, Camp Moore, Louisiana. Present to December, 1862. Roll for March and April, 1863, "Left sick at Jackson, Mississippi, April 14, 1863." Present on all Rolls July, 1863, to August, 1864. Paroled at Greensboro, North Carolina, April 26, 1865.
