Betty Goldman, wife of Dr. Leonard Goldman, the mother of Larry Goldman and his wife Denise and their son, Jacob; Susan Kim and her husband, David Kim and their sons, Zachary and Ethan. She was born to Hazel Conklin and Joseph Winans on June 10, 1926 and died July 26, 2016. Any description of Betty must be done in superlatives. She was an incredible wife, a remarkable mother and an outstanding caregiver as is evident by her career in nursing and all other aspects of her life. To those who knew her, no eulogy is required; for those who did not, words alone could never suffice. Truly, she was a beacon whose light shined brightly on all who met her!
There will be a private burial, followed by a Memorial Service in her honor at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 31, 2016 at B'nai Zion Congregation, Shreveport, LA, with a reception to follow. Officiating will be Rabbi Dr. Jana L. De Benedetti.
