Funeral services will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Harold L. “Harry” Narcisse, 60, who passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at his residence. Fr, Leon Ngandu, SVD will be the Celebrant of the Mass. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Born May 10, 1957 in Lafayette, La to the late Alphonse Narcisse, Jr and Irene Jones Narcisse. He is survived by four brothers, Joseph (Effie) Narcisse, Ernest Narcisse, Vincent (Stacy) Kelly, and Raymond Narcisse all of Lafayette, La; eight sisters, Laura Mae (Oscar) Taylor and Linda (Wayne) Davis both of Beaumont, Tx, Helen Narcisse, Emily Narcisse, Leona Narcisse, Michelle (Calvin) Narcisse, Rose Narcisse, and Ada (Sonny) Trahan all of Lafayette, La along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Paul Narcisse, four sisters, Anna Mae Batiste, Rose Narcisse, Mable Ann Narcisse, and Laura Belle Lindon.
Harry took great pride in being a loving and nurturing brother, uncle and friend to many. His love extended beyond what one could see for nieces and nephews.
Special acknowledgements to Cierra Cormier, Nyla Johnson, Dymarie Narcissse, and Kharter Menard; life long sister friend Serene George of Lafayette, and Mrs. Lydia Mouton, a guardian angel who always prayed for and with Harry over the many years of his life.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 from 7 am until time of services at Syrie Funeral Home.
