Lafayette - Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 10:00AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lafayette for Rodney Savoy who passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
J.R. leaves to mourn yet cherish his memories his parents; Rodney and Cheryl Savoy, two sisters; Tricia (Christopher) Morris of Houston TX., and Shonna (Paul) Potier of Lafayette LA., fiancé; Brandi Gallien of Opelousas LA., grandmother; Irene Patt Barras of St. Martinville LA., four daughters; Jada Ledet, C'era Savoy of Lafayette LA., Kiersten Savoy of Houston Texas, and an unborn; Emery Reign Savoy of Opelousas LA., one son; Rylan Savoy of Houston TX., and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
J.R. is preceded in death by his grandparents; Walter and Carmen Savoy, his maternal grandfather; John "J.B." Barras, one nephew; Aiden Rhys Morris, one aunt; Sandra James, four uncles; Horace Barras, John Barras III, Walter Savoy Jr., and David Savoy.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 7:00AM to 9:30AM at Kinchen Funeral Home in Lafayette.
