Deshone Patrice Boudreaux was granted her angel wings on Monday, August 7, 2017. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Deshone had touched in some way throughout her memorable life.
She was born December 8, 1970, in Lafayette LA. to Eola “Gertie” Ann Smith and Larry Boudreaux. She grew up in Lafayette, LA., and Houston, TX. She graduated in 1988, soon after that she joined the Air Force and served in the supply and auto parts division and was stationed at George Air Force Base in California. She held several occupations such as a stocking manager at NC State University, a tax associate, worked offshore for Shrim Catering Company, Lafayette Parks and Recreation to name a few. Her interests were endless yet she devoted much of her time and energy helping people.
Leaving behind to celebrate her life are her parents; Eola “Gertie” Ann Smith and Larry Boudreaux (Kathleen) both of Lafayette, two sisters; Brittney L. M. Smith and Taquania L. Washington (Mandale) both of Lafayette, three brothers; Quincy L. Mouton, Joseph Boudreaux (Elle) and Jacoby Taylor all of Lafayette, two nephews: Daron Washington, Darius Washington, two great nieces; Rayella J. Washington and Aubrey Boudreaux, as well as a host of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother; Eva Arceneaux, grandfather; Joseph Francis Sr., Ethel Boudreaux (grandmother), Lumas Boudreaux (grandfather), Chester Arceneaux, (uncle), Theresa V. Perrio (aunt).
Visitation for Deshone will be held at Kinchen Funeral Home, 1011 North Saint Antoine Street, Lafayette LA., on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 7:00am to 9:00am.
Lafayette: Funeral Service will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 818 12th Street, Lafayette LA., on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 10:00am.
