CARENCRO - Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church for Helen Green Armstead, 69, who died February 24, 2012 at her residence.
Services will be conducted by Fr. Peter Emusa.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette, LA.
She is survived by her children, Keith Anthony Green, Madeline Theresa Green, Allen Raymond Green (Marlena Ann Green); siblings, Irma Green, Mary Keal, Almeda Decuir (Wilton Decuir), Leonard Taylor, Brenda Lewis, Sydney Green (Gloria Green), Mary Margaret Green, Emma Green, Chester Lewis and Brenda Jones; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; beloved cousins, Wilfred Sonnier and Mary Theresa; niece, Jessica Green; nephews, Donovan and Douglas Lloyd; Godchild, Willis "Nu" Arceneaux, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Green and Theresa Taylor, Elizabeth and Frank Green, Sr.; siblings, Deborah Taylor, Frank Green, Jr., Mary Ann Lloyd and Irma Mouton; a niece, Carla Breaux.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church from 8 a.m. until time of service.
