Lafayette, LA-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. Paul Catholic Church for Ms. Genelle Marie Chaisson, 56. Fr. Robert Seay will be the celebrant.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
A resident of Lafayette, LA Ms. Chaisson passed away at her residence surrounded by family on January 20, 2013.
Genelle leaves to cherish her fond memory one son, Billy Joe Chaisson; eight sisters, Joeann(Roynis) Broussard, Linda Arceneaux, Connie Chevalier(Pat), Cynthia Chaisson, Brenda Chaisson(Jim), Ramona(George) Warner, Polly(Willie) Anderson and Roxanne (Jim)Turney; three brothers, Joseph Pelton Chaisson, Kenneth Paul(Iris)Chaisson, Joseph Raymond(Charlotte) Chaisson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Clifton Chaisson; two brothers, Alvin Chaisson and Joseph Jerry Chaisson.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Kinchen Funeral Home from 8:00am until 9:45am.
With heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude, the family would like to thank relatives and friends and Heart of Hospice Staff for the many expressions of kindness, cares and concerns during Genelle’s final days. We are generously appreciative of your love, calls, flowers, comforting presence and most of all for your prayers. May God continue to bless you.
