LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Syrie Funeral Home for Harold Chaisson, Jr, 65, who died January 27, 2013 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr Chaisson was retired from the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Doris M Alexander Chaisson of Clarksville, Tennessee; sons, Michael (Marylou) Chaisson, Sr of Clarksville, Tennessee, Christopher (Felicia) Chaisson of Ganado, Texas, Spencer Chaisson of Clarksville, Tennessee, Marcus Chaisson of San Antonio, Texas; daughter Rosalena Chaisson (Eddie) Laubengeyer of Killeen, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Jr, Jasmine, Malcolm, Adarius and Tianna; brother Michael Lawrence of Lafayette, Louisiana; sisters, Sharon Lawrence and Sheila Lawrence, both of Lafayetteand a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents Harold Chaisson, Sr and Lena Mae Peterman and brothers Patrick Lawrence, Harold Lawrence and Joseph Duhon.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Syrie Funeral Home from 8:00 am until time of service.
