Lafayette – Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church for Joseph Milton Gabriel, 60, who died November 21, 2018 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Services will be conducted by Father Hampton Davis.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
He belonged to the Avenue Trail Riding Club.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Gabriel; two daughters, Heather and Tiffany Gabriel, both of Lafayette, LA; one sister Stephanie Rubin of Youngsville, LA; one brother, Wayne Hamilton of New Iberia, LA; his aunt, Rose Christian; his uncles, Francis Rubin, Sr. (Annie) and Albert Gabriel (Delores); sister-in-law, Carol Roy; brothers-in-law, Milton Lindon and Patrick Lindon (Linda); and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hilda Rubin; his father, Joseph Roy Gabriel and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Syrie Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
A rosary will be recited on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
