Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Monday, February 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Clyde Patrick Duhon, 56, who died Monday, January 30, 2017 at his residence in Breaux Bridge, LA. Services will be conducted by Father Robert Seay, OFM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Clyde Patrick Duhon was born March 26, 1960 to Bertha Vallier Duhon and Stanley Duhon.

Clyde attended elementary school at J W Faulk. He later attended high school at Northside High School. He had several degrees. He received a Business Management degree from Nichols State University and nursing degree from USL (UL) and LSU-E. Clyde was a charge nurse for 30 years and an entrepreneur. He owned several carwashes and other businesses. His most recent endeavor that he was most proud of was going to be to open “Bree’s Smoky Barbecue” in his deceased daughter’s (Briani) memory.

He leaves to cherish his memories his sons Kyle Duhon of Pearland, Texas and Ryan Duhon of Lafayette; grandsons, Carsen Anthony Green and Braylon Seth Duhon; parents, Bertha Vallier Duhon and Stanley Duhon of Lafayette; sisters, Brenda (Anthony) Frank and Cindy Duhon, both of Lafayette, and Beverly Dugas of Wichita, Kansas; brothers, Ronald Duhon of Lafayette and Stanley St Julien of Houston, Texas; the mother of his children, Debra Bowman Duhon; companion, Bridget Mouton and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter,Briani Nicole Duhon; brother Kenneth James Duhon; maternal grandparents Rena and William Vallier; paternal grandparents Edna and Simon Duhon; aunts Mary Zeno, Ruth Jolivet, Lovella Dugas, Virginia Thomas, Mazie Thomas, Theresa Johnson, Thelma Moore; uncles, Linus Vallier, Ernest Vallier, Joseph Cuba Vallier and Percy Duhon.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 6, 2017 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7:00 am until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 am.
