LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Spirit of Liberty Christian Fellowship for Veronica Mae Auzenne, 62, who died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at her residence.
Services will be conducted by Minister Michael Thibodeaux.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Dana Broussard, Kristi (Phil) Peter, Akura Auzenne (DeWayne); one son, Calvin Auzenne (April); eleven grandchildren; one great grandson; six sisters, Emma Comeaux, Ester (Prince) Bodie, Celesta (Johnny Sr.) Dean, Iona and Sharmaine Broussard, Denise (Robert Sr.) Green; two sisters from another mother, Monica Covington, Cathy Levy; six brothers, Eddie (Tina) Broussard, Anthony (Hope) Broussard, Patrick and Ray Broussard, Ovalton (Becky) Broussard, Hayward (Carla) Broussard; a loving companion, Henry Noel Sr.; two best friends, Theodore Young and Katina Freeman; one godson and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Caldrick Freeman; parents, Gladys and Horace Broussard, Sr.; three brothers, Horace Jr., Willie Sr. and Arthur Broussard; one sister, Beverly Ernest; one nephew, Joseph Ernest.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7 a.m. until time of service.
