Lafayette - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Patrick "Doc" Stiner, 46, who passed away on September 2, 2013. He will be buried in Calvary Cemetery.
Patrick David Stiner was born on May 31, 1967 to Joseph Mitchell Stiner Jr. and the former Shirley Mae Francis.
He was the 10th of 12 children. Patrick was known to all as "DOC", the swing out man, and the love doctor. He was a faithful prayer worrier on KJCB.
Doc leaves to mourn but cherish his memories, his wife Ethel Stiner, Mother, Shirley F. Stiner both of Lafayette La. Seven Brothers, Paul Francis ( Rosia), Daniel Stiner, Cleveland Stiner ( Charlotte), Norris Stiner (Susan), Donald Stiner all of Lafayette La. Larry Stiner and Michael Stiner (Yvette ) all of Lake Charles La. Two Sisters,Lisa Stiner (Patrick) and Lorita Stiner all of Lafayette La. His Godmother, Elizabeth Trotter of Lafayette La.. His mother n law Nathalee Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph M. Stiner Jr., brother Joseph M. Stiner III, sister Lovinia S. Bernard brother n law Cornell Bernard Sr, nephew Cleveland Stiner Jr. Grandparents Joseph and Lorita Stiner, Norris Francis and Octavia F. Colomb and Harold Colomb, aunts, uncles, cousins.
Viewing will be Saturday, September 14, 2013, from 7:00-10:30 AM at Kinchen Funeral Home.
Kinchen Funeral Home, Inc of Lafayette is in charge of final arrangements.
