Lafayette, LA: Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00AM, at St. Paul Catholic Church for Shirley Mae Francis.

Shirley Mae Francis Stiner was born August 21, 1940 to the late Norris Francis and former Octavia Arceneaux in Lafayette, Louisiana. She departed this life on Friday, October 10, 2014, at the age of 74. Throughout her lifetime she has acquired many names "Shirley Mae, TV Mama, MoMo, and the Queen." She helped in the rearing of many children thorough her lifetime and always had an open doo: to anyone needing a meal to eat, or a glass of water to drink.. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and faithful member of St. Paul Catholic Church's. She was a strong believer of her Christian faith, she was a prayer warrior, and a server for GOD. She enjoyed and adored her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and dear friend.

She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, seven sons Paul Francis (Rosia), Daniel Stiner, Cleveland Stiner (Charlotte), Norris Stiner (Jamie), Donald Stiner all of Lafayette, Louisiana. Larry Stiner and Michael Stiner (Yvette) all of Lake Charles, Louisiana; two daughters Lisa Stiner (Patrick), Lorita Stiner both of Lafayette, Louisiana. Daughter-in-law; Ethel Stiner. A granddaughter she raised as her own Cearria Stiner. She also leaves behind twenty-nine grandchildren and forty-five greatgrandchildren. Four brother' Phillip Francis (Cynthia), Harvey Colomb (Mercedes), Hollis Colomb (Cora), Patrick Colomb (Louise). One sister; Elizabeth Trotter(Stanley).A good friend /cousin Veronica Castile. Three Godchildren, Robert Clay, Cheryl Martin, and Michelle Elaire. She also leaves behind a host of cousin, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Stiner Sr., daughter Lavina Bernard and son-in-law Cornell Bernard; two sons, Patrick "Doe" Stiner and Joseph M. Stiner Jr., Father Norris Francis, mother, Octavia A.F. Colomb, Step father, Harold Colomb Sr. four brothers; Joseph Arceneaux, Junius Francis, Norris Francis and Godwin Colomb; two sisters Mary Harris and Julia
Martin. Also, her best friends; Verna Martin, Rita August, and Wanda Francis.

Visitation will be held Saturday at 8:00AM until 11:00AM St. Paul Catholic Church in Lafayette LA.

Kinchen Funeral Home, Inc., 1011 N. Saint Antoine Street, Lafayette, LA.70501, is in charge of arrangements.
