Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2017 at a 10:00 AM Christian Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette for Jennifer Irene Garrity, 34, who died Saturday, January 20, 2018 in New Iberia.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Reverend Tommy Faulk will conduct the funeral services. Steven Brasseaux will give the eulogy.

Survivors include daughters, Trinidy Hayes and Violet Hayes; father, Wilton Hayes; mother Elizabeth Hayes; step-father Shane Simon; brothers Nathaniel Hayes and Joseph Hayes.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Savoul Hayes and Marie Ann C Hayes and maternal grandparents Louise Brasseaux and Henry Brasseaux.

Jennifer Irene Garrity was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend to all who knew her. She was known for her big heart, always putting others first before herself. Jennifer cherished her two daughters Trinidy and Violet, and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and taking care of animals, especially her beloved dog Bailey. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Brasseaux, Daniel Brasseaux, Donavin Lopez, Caleb Pryor, Shane Simon and Joseph Hayes.
