Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Crystal Guillory, 32, who passed away November 19, 2015 after a courageous battle with breast cancer at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen, Texas.

Services will be conducted by Father Sebastian Myladiyil, SVD.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Beloved daughter of Sandra Joseph (mother), Edward Anderson and Jackie Anderson (Stepmother), she was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. She graduated from Comeaux High School, attended Remington College and University of Phoenix where she received her Associates and Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She proudly served in the United States Navy and Naval Reserves for 12 years. Crystal was an outspoken advocate for breast cancer awareness. She is the co-founder of the Pink Ribbon Divas, a local support group for young breast cancer survivors.

She is survived by husband Graylin Guillory; kids, Jaquan and Akarie Thomas and Grayson Guillory; parents Edward and stepmother Jackie Anderson; sisters Latasha Richard (Carwin) of Manteca, Calafornia and Lamequa Anderson-Carmouche (Brian) of Lafayette, Louisiana; brothers Edmond Anderson (Erica) and Shaquille Anderson both of Lafayette, Louisiana; 2 nephews and 4 nieces, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by mother, Sandra Marie Joseph; aunt Jessie Joseph; grandmother Mary Catherine Anderson and grandfather, Edward Anderson, Sr.
