Lafayette: Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 12:30AM at St. Paul Catholic Church in Lafayette for Edna G. Arceneaux, 68, who passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017.
Edna was born in Grand Coteau, LA., and was a native of Lafayette for 54 years.
Edna leaves to mourn yet cherish her memories her four sons; Rickey J. Arceneaux, Ernest M. Areneaux, Harold J. Arceneaux, and Mabry Arceneaux Jr. (Lolita Boudreaux), two daughters; Patricia Arceneaux and wife (Schwanda Solomon) of Lafayette, Shawnte’ Arceneaux Smith (Warren) of Baton Roughe LA, one step-sister; Holly Robinson, one brother; Aavon Gotch (Elise), twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Mabry Arceneaux Sr., of 53 years, one brother; Anthony Gotch, one sister; Lorita Walker, her parents; Dallas Gotch and Emma Guidry, stepdad; Etienne Wood, and one great grandbaby; Miracle Dejon Senegal.
