From Louisiana Archives ~ Blanchard, Severin, Private Captain Landry's Company (Donaldsonville Artillery) Louisiana Artillery. Enlisted September 13, 1861, Donaldsonville, Louisiana . Present on all Rolls to October, 1863. Rolls from November,1863, to April, 1864, "Absent detailed as Wagoner with Ordnance train." Rolls from July, 1864, to February, 1865,"Present" On list signed by R Prosper Landry, Captain Commanding. Donaldsonville Artillery, in a letter from the Attorney General Office, Washington, DC, to Brevet Brigadier General William Hoffman, Commisary General of Prisoners. List dated June 19, 1865. On List of Prisoners surrendered and paroled reported and registered at Provost Marshal's Office Napoleonville, Louisiana , November 1, 1865.
