LAFAYETTE - Lynn LeMieux Allain passed away peacefully at her home in Lafayette, Louisiana Friday, November 27, 2015 with her family at her side. The family requests that visitation be observed on Tuesday at Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at 1:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette. Interment will be at St John the Evangelist Cemetery.

Lynn was born April 25, 1944 in New Orleans and is the daughter of the late Earl E and Alice Pritchard LeMieux. She is survived by son Wilbur (Billy) Allain III; daughter Michelle Allain Domingue and husband, Randy; four grandchildren Olivia Allain, Nicolas Domingue, Hailey Domingue and Parker Domingue; one great-grandson, Asher LeBlanc; sister Judy LeMieux Sutherland and husband, Charles; and brother Richard E LeMieux and wife, Cheryl Offner LeMieux; nephews, Glen Sutherland Michael Sutherland, Ricky LeMieux, Tommy LeMieux, John LeMieux; and niece Kim Sutherland Gold.

Lynn was a graduate of Holy Name Mercy Academy and Soule Business College in New Orleans. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Lynn was a people person, an excellent homemaker, and always put others before herself.

Pallbearers will be Billy Allain, Nicolas Domingue, Parker Domingue, Richard LeMieux, and Glen and Michael Sutherland.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Sutherland and Ricky, Tommy, and John LeMieux.

Lector will be Mary Kay Allain. Giftbearers will be Olivia Allain and Hailey Domingue. Jodi Bollich, organist and soloist, will sing for the mass.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Wilbur (Bill) Allain, Jr for the loving care and support he provided during Lynn's illness.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston Street, Suite 200, Lafayette, Louisiana 70503.
