Funeral services for Jan (Johnnie Mae) Booth Kreidel were held Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Point Chapel Assembly of God Church in Doyline with Bro. Matthew LaCaze officiating. Interment followed at Doyline Cemetery in Doyline under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. The family received friends from 5 until 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 25, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Jan was born May 2, 1928, in Doyline and entered into rest Nov. 23, 2016 in Bossier City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Bessie Booth, husband Virgil Kreidel and sister Geneva Booth Keathley.

She is survived by her daughters, Virgie Hoof and husband William of Coushatta, Glenda Parker of Longview, Texas, and Judy Wilk of Doyline, son, Virgil Kreidel of Shreveport, sister Estelle Booth Goodwin, of Doyline, grandchildren, Jennifer Ratcliff Bruner, Jason William Wilk, Rosslyn Ratcliff Mosteiro, Joshua Anthony Wilk and Otto Arthur Parker, eight great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Jason Wilk, Josh Wilk, Arthur Parker, Anthony Parker, Michael Bruner and Richard Bruner.

The family extends a special thanks to the staff and nurses of Heritage Manor Bossier and LSU Medical Center and Amedisys Hospice.
