Chattanooga, Tennessee- Services for Mr Bert Edward Poole, 89, will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, February 5, 1991 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Monsignor William O'Hanlon, pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Shreveport. Mr Poole died Saturday, February 2, 1991 in Chattanooga, Tennessee following a lengthy illness. He was born in Hebert, Louisiana, was a former resident of Shreveport and had resided in Chattanooga for 10 years. Mr Poole was a Catholic, a carpenter and a member of Carpenter's Union #764. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs Robbie Poole and two sons Bert E Poole, Jr and Preston Cromwell. Survivors include son James E Poole of Chattanooga, Tennessee; step-son, Edwin A Riley, Jr of Haughton, Louisiana; daughter, Betty Smith of Chattanooga, Tennessee; several grand- children, great-grandchildren and great-great-grand children.
