Inez Dollahite, 90, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 28, 2010, after a short hospitalization.

Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2010, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1700 Blue Ridge Parkway, in Longview. Funeral services in her honor will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be in her hometown of Farmerville, La., at 1 p.m. Saturday, Janurary 1, 2011.

Inez was born on her dad's birthday, April 6, 1920.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zachariah Dillard and Ella Magnolia (Powell) Dumas "Mama and Daddy Buck;", and her two brothers, Elwood and Clyde Dumas.

She is survived by her sons, Sammuel Dillard Glass and wife, Kathy, and Kenneth LaVern Glass and wife, Patty; seven grandchildren; 27 great- grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and Jean Henderson, her eternal best friend.

Inez loved the missionaries of her church, always feeding them when she was able and was grateful for her grandchildren who served worthy missions.

"Mamaw," as she was fondly called, spent her last two years at Heritage Manor - Stratmore Nursing Home in Shreveport, La., where her son, Dillard, tended to her every need on a daily basis. The family is very grateful for the kind, patient care she received there.
