Funeral services for Ethel Ann Taylor, age 76 of Ruston, will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Rock Corner Baptist Church in Dubach with Rev. Larry Bullock officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Corner Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Ann was born on April 10, 1941 in Ruston, Louisiana to the union of Robert Lewis and Rena Ethel Brewster Otwell and died March 14, 2018 in Ruston. Ann loved her church and playing the piano. She was the pianist at Rock Corner for many years where she attended until her health declined. Ann loved working at Safeway and Harvest Food where she retired. She also enjoyed crocheting, bream fishing, and playing pokeno. Ann is preceded in death by her son, Russell Chandler; sister, Dorothy Farley and brother, Raybun Otwell.

Ann is survived by her husband of 34 years, Bobby Taylor of Ruston, LA; son, Greg Chandler of Ruston, LA; step-son, Bobby Taylor, JR. of Allen, TX; six grandchildren: Caren and husband Randal Wood of Seattle, WA, Jodi Walding of Jacksonville, FL, Dustin Walding and wife Sarah of Orlando, FL, Kayla Wright of Simsboro, LA, Kristyn Wright of Ruston, LA, and Kammi Smith of Ruston, LA; two great grandchildren: Mason and Leona; brother: Glyn Otwell of Minden, LA and two sisters: Virginia Cassel of Ruston, LA and Billye Sue Younse of Ruston, LA.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Brown, Chris Duke, Zeb Ginn, Bevon Martin, Hadley Martin, and Harry Murray. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Frasier.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service on Saturday, March 16, 2018 at Rock Corner Baptist Church in Dubach.
