Funeral services for Ms. Patsy Lynett Tucker, age 65 of Dubach, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the Rock Corner Baptist Church near Ruston with the Rev. Charles Harlon officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Corner Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
Ms. Tucker was born May 21, 1947 in Bernice to Howard Leon Curry and Avalee Lunsford Curry. She died May 1, 2007 at her home. She was a professor at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope where she taught Business. Ms. Tucker was a member of Rock Corner Baptist Church.
Ms. Tucker is survived by her daughter Kelley Gouedy Caldwell and husband Ricky of Dubach, her sons Todd Gouedy of Ruston and Kyle Reed Gouedy and wife Dorothy of Memphis, TN; her grandchildren Austin Caldwell, Cameron Caldwell, Dalton Gouedy, Kaycee Gouedy, and Kristen Gouedy; her brothers Johnny Curry, Abbott Curry, and Bill Curry; her sisters Nancy Henry, Virginia Curry, Barbara Watts, and Joanie Hendricks. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one brother Joe Curry.
Visitation will be held at Rock Corner Baptist Church near Ruston Wednesday, May 2, 2007 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Ricky Caldwell, Austin Caldwell, Cameron Caldwell, Dalton Gouedy, Todd Gouedy, Kyle Gouedy, and Johnny Pardue. Honoroary pallbearers will be Kenneth Henry, Early Henry, Chase Davidson, Clint Staggs, Joseph Curry, Jared Mobley, Doug Bowlin, and Rocky Bowlin.
