Mrs Reatha Denham, 83, of Bernice, passed away April 3, 2017. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Bernice. Bro Randy Trail and Bro Charles Malone will officiate. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the service at the church. Reatha was born September 2, 1933. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and crocheting. She loved to play cards and Bunco with friends. Reatha was a member of First Baptist Church of Bernice where she was active in Sunday school and sang in the choir. She loved to watch sports and the Game Show network on TV. Reatha is preceded in death by daughter, Rene Wheelus. Reatha was loved by her husband, of 66 years, Windy Denham; daughters Charlotte Bowen (Johnny) and Kathy Tyson (Vernon); son-in-law, Dennis Wheelus; grandchildren Leon Wheelus (Tracy), Geoff Deason (Rachel), Lensie Stanley (Justin), and Michael Wheelus (Becky);great grandchildren Tristan and Carlie Wheelus, Alyssa Deason, Katelynn and Dillon Stanley, and Knox and Cruz Wheelus; siblings: Bonnie Harkins (Bobby) and Connie Turner (Bill); puppy dog Biscuit and her card playing friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 502 Cherry, Bernice, Louisiana 71222
