Funeral services for Crewson "Mickey" Taylor", 83, of Bernice, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville with Bro. Jacob Hilton officiating. Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery in Bernice under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mr. Taylor, a native of Virginia, was an Air Force veteran of 24 ½ years and served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He loved his grandchildren, great grandchildren and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Effie Taylor; four brothers, James Miller Taylor, Aubry Taylor, Johnny Taylor and Henry Taylor; six sisters, Louise Roberts, Flora Roberts, Jesse Krastel, Annie Needer, Catherine Beard and Thelma Wood; and one son, Ronald Edgar Taylor.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Betty Stirling Taylor; three daughters, Patricia Walsh and husband, Gerald of Ruston; Martha Lee; and Marjorie Barker and husband, Gary, all of Eldorado, AR; five grandchildren, Jennifer Matak and husband, Patrick; Robert and wife, Leah; Bonnie Lee, Stephen Barker and Shawn Barker; four great grandchildren, Sydney Matak, Alexis Matak, Ava Lee and Crewson Lee; two nephews, Andrew Taylor and Daniel Taylor; and many more family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home
