Funeral services for Marie Tarpley, 82, of West Monroe, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Liberty Grove Church of God with Rev. Ray Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Grove Church of God Cemetery, West Monroe, LA Mrs. Tarpley went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 4, 2014. She was born October 29, 1931 in Pangburn, Arkansas. Mrs. Tarpley was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Gertrude Pickens Boyles, her father, Lance Eric Boyles, her brother, James Woody Boyles, and her grandson, Allen Michael.She was an assistant manager at Friendly Finance, where she recently retired after 48 years of faithful service. Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Robinson and husband Barry Robinson; grandchildren Pamela Roberts, Megan Kemp and husband Rick Kemp; great grandchildren Blake Herring, Kyle Roberts, Tyler Roberts, Harley Kemp, and Kylee Kemp; along with numerous nieces and one nephew.Pallbearers will be: Jim Boyles, Jo Brown, Steve Dark, Joey Smith, and Neal Smith.Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, North 7th Street, West Monroe.Memorials may be made to Liberty Grove Church of God Building Fund, 504 Marion Sims Road, West Monroe, LA.
