Funeral services for JR Bailey, 47, of West Monroe will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Sandra LaCourse and Mike Gates will officiate. Interment will follow at Lapine Assembly of God Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.JR was born October 17, 1967 in West Monroe, LA and passed away August 16, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. He was a Well Operator for EnerVest Operating, L.L.C. He was the president of Deer Track Beagle Hunting Club and was an avid outdoorsman. He also loved to run his beagles at the Deer Track Beagle Hunting Club.JR was preceded in death by his father, Leon DeWitt Bailey; Granny and Mamaw, and grandfather, Clevo Sullivan and wife Mercile.He is survived by his wife, Lori Bailey; sons, Kyle and Hunter Bailey and James Thrasher; daughter, Cheyann Bailey; mother, Glenda Duchesne (Roy); sister; Pam Ford (James); brothers, Donald Ellis (Sheila) and Steven Kelly; step-sister, Danielle Edgeworth (Ashley) and Morgan Burford (Chad); grandkids, Dalton, Hayden, and Kerstin; and JR best friends, Scotty Taylor, Jay LaGrone and Mitch Hampton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, along with lots of extended family and friends.Pallbearers will be Mitch Hampton, Jay LaGrone, Scotty Taylor, Tracy Posey, James Phillips, Danny Cummings, Rob Atkins, Jamie Lasyone and Larry Lowery.Visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
