Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Jean Cromwell Rice, 71, will be held 10:00 AM, September 5th, 2011, at the Lapine Assembly of God Church, West Monroe with Rev. Gene Benson and Bro. Glenn Lenard officiating. Interment will follow at Lapine Assembly of God Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Ruby Rice was born October 8, 1939 in Crowville, LA and passed away in West Monroe, LA on September 2, 2011. She was a homemaker and a long time member of Lapine Assembly of God Church. Preceding Mrs. Rice in death were her son, Donald Osborne; parents, Willie Mae Burris and Leonard Cromwell; and her sister Annette ØÇø_MarieØÇø_ Brown. She is survived by former husband, John Rice; son Michael Cromwell, daughters Sue Booth Terry, and Bobbie Murray Robert, sons, William Osborne Elizabeth, and Burley Osborne, daughter Nora Jones Mike; brother, J. L. Cromwell; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are William Osborne, Michael Jones, Jr., Grady, Foster, Jr., John Lee Foster, Jeremy Foster, and Wayne Hearold. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Jones, Sr. and Edwin Day.
