August 28, 1835 - April 7, 1888
He enlisted on March 15, 1862 at Lisbon, Louisiana. He was appointed to the rank of 3rd Sergeant. On April 20, 1862, he was wounded and reduced in rank to Private because of his disability. The Company Muster Roster for November-December 1862 showed his status as "absent wounded since April 20, 1862." He was present for duty as a Private as listed on the Company Muster Roster for January-February 1863. The Company Muster Roster for May-June 1863 showed he was detailed as a hospital nurse, by order of Major General Breckenridge, in March 1863. On February 24, 1864, he was admitted to the C.S.A. General Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana, for a gunshot wound to the wrist. He was discharged from service the same day.
